At the first rest stop, the young lady at the information counter was very helpful and even helped me plan my next trip through this state, suggesting a better route than I had planned.

BLUE MOOSE

I had dinner at The Blue Moose. It was excellent. The soup was fantastic and the steak was very good. If I wanted to get fatter, I would have ordered another round. mmmmmm good!

One of the servers has a friend that goes to Rowan as her family lives in Danville.

Grand Forks:

This photo was taken near the Blue Moose in Minnesota and Grand Forks is in the background. The river is the Red River of the North.

This is in Fargo.

Fargo, North Dakota

This is the Red River (frequently referred to as the Red River of the North). It flows north towards Canada. You may remember a major flood here several years ago. The other side of the river is Minnesota.
